The Church of Christ is a fellowship bound together by our mutual faith in Christ and our love for one another. Our fellowship rests on two great truths:
1. Jesus is Savior and Lord, the revealed expression of God’s grace; and,
2. The Bible is the inspired and inerrant word of God through which the path of righteousness is revealed to all believers.
We believe that God cares about people and that He has a deep concern for our soul and physical body. The clearest evidence of this is the love He showed us through His Son (John 3:16). God sent His Son on a mission to save the lost (Mark 10:45). Jesus accomplished this redemption by allowing himself to be crucified as atonement for our sins and by being raised on the third day. Jesus was willing to suffer a cruel death on the cross for our transgressions so that we can be forgiven through faithful repentance. His resurrection was a testimony that death hath no dominion over Jesus. His followers are blessed with this forgiveness and the hope of eternal life in heaven as a free gift of their faith, trust and obedience to God’s calling.
The cross and the resurrection of Jesus are at the center of our relationship with God. A person becomes a Christian by his faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. The early Christians written about in the book of Acts were added to the church when they made a confession of their faith, repented of their sins and were born again in the water of baptism
